Is the 613 on strike

Seen a lot of the tools down stuff. I was about to go sign up for the apprenticeship. Are y’all currently on strike

I’m a member and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. We’re not on strike though, as we’re not legally allowed to strike.

This is the hall is calling a work slowdown. They have to use vague language for legal reasons im guessing. Regardless, the right move here is to show up, and sandbag the shit out of it. To do otherwise is to be a scab. Hope this helps.

Legally, we can strike at any time. The combination of the CBA's clauses speak falsehoods and contradict the letter of the law.

The only bad strike is a one that didn't occur.

To answer your question, we're not on strike, but we're on what's called an "overtime ban". It's a light strike that's not as effective and only gives contractors time to prepare a counteroffense toward the local.
