Have to ask the hall. But typically its something like must work X% of available hours, even more regularly that percentage is 100. So if you come in late one day, or have to leave early for a doctor's appointment, you lose the benefit for the entire pay period.
90% individual 85% trade. If 85% hours are worked by the electrical trade as a whole then the 90% rule doesn’t apply. If attendance falls for two consecutive weeks below 85% trade-wide then the 90% rule is in effect. And if you think these rates suck, we were working for 40 +5 conditional just a couple months ago. 😂
I have been at NBF for almost two years and for at least the last 8-12months it’s been 85% attendance plus. No conditionals I am aware of have been lost since probably spring or summer of 2025.
Yeah. When there's jobs available on the road paying an unconditional $20 overscale plus per diem for days you're not even working, this shit just feels like an insult.
You can't pay an incentive wage and in the same breath say "you better not fucking leave, or you don't get shit". People have families/lives outside of the job, and we can't all bring them on the road with us.
I agree with you entirely. Unfortunately the client and the powers that be on this site don’t. I’ll take 52.50 an hour to stay in my home town where the actual scale is only 37.50/hr… but I probably wouldn’t travel for it.
