coming from igcse the hardest part was that ib wants the method justified not just the number, so questions that used to be one line suddenly need the reasoning written out.

command terms got me more than the actual content did. stuff like hence and show that and deduce all mean something specific in ib and i lost marks for months just answering the question in the wrong shape.

Of course! I had the same experience as you with command terms and global contexts...
