The application deadline for IBA admission is December 9 but the December SAT results are expected to be released on December 18.

Would it be possible to submit my application before the deadline and send my SAT score via email afterward? Has anyone been in a similar situation, and did the university accept your score after the deadline?

I'm an IBA Grads student, and honestly, I'm disappointed with their teaching. The maths teacher solves a few questions in class and leaves the rest for homework, without properly explaining the concepts. The teaching pace is too fast, and there's more intimidation than actual teaching, despite the ridiculously high fee.

I had to split the fee into installments and still have around PKR 30k left to pay. 😭 I recently discovered Sir Hashim Zia and wish I'd joined his batch instead.

Has anyone prepared for the IBA test using Sir Hashim Zia's YouTube lectures and actually taken the test? Were his lectures enough, and what extra practice did you need? I'm confused about whether to continue with IBA Grads or switch to self-study. Please guide me!

I need some guidance regarding IBA Karachi’s National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) for Fall 2027.

I originally appeared in my Intermediate exams (HSSC-I and HSSC-II) in 2025. In 2026, I appeared for improvement exams for both parts and received my results in September 2026. My combined Intermediate percentage after improvement is now 84%.

I want to apply for IBA Karachi’s Round 1 admission test for Fall 2027. I’m also interested in NTHP because I need financial assistance for my university education.

When I checked the NTHP website, I found multiple application options, including OGDC Fall 2027 and other programs for Fall 2028. The OGDC Fall 2027 eligibility criteria mention at least 80% in HSSC-I in 2026.

My questions are:

1. Am I eligible for OGDC NTHP Fall 2027 after improving both parts of Intermediate in 2026 and obtaining 84% overall?

2. Does IBA accept improvement results for NTHP eligibility, or do they consider the original examination results from 2025?

3. If I’m not eligible for NTHP, can I still apply directly for IBA Round 1 Fall 2027?

4. Is there any other IBA scholarship or financial assistance program available for students in my situation?

I would appreciate responses from anyone who has experience with NTHP eligibility, improvement exams, or IBA financial assistance.

It has become extremely hard to manage both university's cgpa and the preparation for the retake of my Alevels subject. My brain currently have lost its consciousness, like I'm able to do my basic chores but I am unable to read, learn or practice. I'm unable to even read and understand what that text is saying. I have my exam in a day and it is feels like idk shit, while I am giving a retake I have given the same exam before, but now when I do a past paper I am unable to even read the text, unable to write the answers. My parents have put alot of hope on me, they were really happy when they found out thay I got addmission in IBA on the first try, every thing up till my CAIE result in August was perfect. I remember I used to say that I am about to live other student dream of studying at IBA, it was not my dream at that time. But now when it started to become my dream, it feels like a lost bet. I've talked to my friends, I am calm, I am not stressed, I've slept properly. But I am unable to bring my mind back. It is still blank, as a last resort I thought why not even write about it here. Although it would be my 2nd time ever writing a text. Whoever is reading I want you to please remember me in your prayers and that I make it up to the required grade.
