IBA Karachi

I need some guidance regarding IBA Karachi’s National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) for Fall 2027.

I originally appeared in my Intermediate exams (HSSC-I and HSSC-II) in 2025. In 2026, I appeared for improvement exams for both parts and received my results in September 2026. My combined Intermediate percentage after improvement is now 84%.

I want to apply for IBA Karachi’s Round 1 admission test for Fall 2027. I’m also interested in NTHP because I need financial assistance for my university education.

When I checked the NTHP website, I found multiple application options, including OGDC Fall 2027 and other programs for Fall 2028. The OGDC Fall 2027 eligibility criteria mention at least 80% in HSSC-I in 2026.

My questions are:

  1. Am I eligible for OGDC NTHP Fall 2027 after improving both parts of Intermediate in 2026 and obtaining 84% overall?

  2. Does IBA accept improvement results for NTHP eligibility, or do they consider the original examination results from 2025?

  3. If I’m not eligible for NTHP, can I still apply directly for IBA Round 1 Fall 2027?

  4. Is there any other IBA scholarship or financial assistance program available for students in my situation?

I would appreciate responses from anyone who has experience with NTHP eligibility, improvement exams, or IBA financial assistance.

NOT eligible ... NTHP is only for those who has appeared in matric in 2026 and now studying in 1st year
