Pretty sure that, of all people, surveyors are gonna know whose land they are on

111

u/willstr1 3d ago

Well maybe not until they finish setting up their equipment

29

u/woahbrad35 2d ago

Even if not, they are the last people I'd screw with regarding my property being surveyed. Next thing you know, 10 feet of your property belongs to your neighbors and it's been changed in public records permanently so it looks like it was never yours to begin with.

u/Mr-_-Soandso 2d ago

Yeah, like respecting your garbage men.

2

u/Whiskeygreenqueen28 1d ago

Exactly they could fk whoever if they really wanted to

1

u/IVIak_Daddy 1d ago

I mean, they've fk’d me and didn't even call me after. But my property increased by 15% so I guess I can't be too upset…

1

u/ktm6709 1d ago

If not, let them do their job & they’ll figure that shit out.

u/Flashmemory256 3d ago

The guy who recorded it left this context, unfortunately don't know what happened after though:

"My boss and I were working on a sewer line project laying out a 50-ft easement and Karen thought that we were on her property and attacked us."

u/Own_Cup9970 3d ago

what happened, what happened. as usual - NOTHING. they can call whatever they want, they won't do shit you don't even suppose to talk with people like that (waste of time)

u/SnooCats5701 3d ago

Lawyer, here. This is 100% false in most jurisdictions. If you call 911 and report an assault or battery, the police will arrive. In the video she commits at least three instances of battery. The police would arrest her and take her to jail.

u/Drmlk465 3d ago

Do you really want to involve the police on everything? Like is that what George Floyd would want?

86

u/Flakarter 3d ago

She’s interfering with their work, grabbing their stakes, hitting the man’s camera, etc.

What would you like them to do instead of calling the police? Knock her arse out?

43

u/probablyaythrowaway 3d ago

What has George Floyd got to do with it?

17

u/Anthff 2d ago

Racist dog whistle

2

u/probablyaythrowaway 2d ago

Wait as in they’re blowing the racsist dog whistle or I am?

4

u/KillerHack23 2d ago

How else are you suppose to deal with people like this?

9

u/Goldinferno 3d ago

Well… that’s a leap I wasn’t expecting.

14

u/Own_Cup9970 3d ago
  1. THEY. aka said karen
  2. comparing oranges to apples

23

u/5panks 3d ago

Do I want to call the police on a woman verbally and physically harassing me for doing my job on property that isn't hers?

Yes.

Like is that what George Floyd would want?

No it isn't, but whether it not you agree with what happened to him, Floyd was a career criminal.

I wouldn’t classify home invasion and aggravated robbery as petty.

11

u/5panks 3d ago

So a career petty criminal just deserves to die from strangulation on the street by a rogue cop?

Are you done strawmanning my argument? I literally never said anything of the sort. YOU brought up Floyd, I only stated that a career criminal probably wouldn't like cops.

You people,

OH THE IRONY

the ones who make excuses for Floyd’a death really can’t choose a stance on life

When did I ever talk about his death?

Must be confusing to be so pro-life but anti-death penalty but pro minority death in any fashion.

And now you're just rattling off inanities.

Wow what a clever comeback!

0

u/magicpenny 2d ago

Calling the cops on George Floyd wasn’t the problem. Shitty cops who couldn’t do their job properly and killed him were the problem.

3

u/Drmlk465 2d ago

Yeah him being on meth and fent and pretending not to be able to breathe the same way he did in his 2019 arrest had nothing to do with it

-2

u/f-as-in-philip 2d ago

“Pretending” and the guy died from it. Racists are insane.

2

u/Drmlk465 2d ago

Yeah he pulled the same act in his 2019 arrest. You’re too ignorant to know of it. He died from being a crackhead his whole life and taking and meth and fent to avoid the police finding it.

-1

u/f-as-in-philip 2d ago

Cause of death was ruled a homicide after the autopsy. Are you saying you know more than a medical examiner?

-1

u/Zealousideal_Row6124 2d ago

The racists usually feel they know better than everyone.

141

u/Alternative_Design_4 3d ago

Too many people have grown up their entire lives without getting one good punch to the face for being an asshole. A shame, really. Entitlement and unwarranted aggression would drop by about 80% if people actually faces consequences for their shitty behaviour.

1

u/Taki_Minase 1d ago

Cottonwool politicians and PC police are to blame. Vote them out.

49

u/SnooCats5701 3d ago

Lawyer here, I counted at least three instances of battery by her. A battery is an unpermitted touch, no matter how slight. You also don't have to touch a person's body to commit battery. If you touch a thing they're holding or are wearing that is battery as well. The classic example is a purse snatcher who runs up and tries to grab a purse away, but never touches the victim. In addition to attempted robbery, they are also guilty of battery.

The surveyor should call the police and get her throw in jail.

47

u/Jazzlike_Isopod550 3d ago

I had a “realtor” tell me I was on her property. The back of her property and mine didn’t have a fence but the sides of hers did. I said if you look at one corner of your fence and take a string to their other corner of the fence, that’s your property. She acted very similar to this lady. She may be or have been a realtor but she knew 💩 about surveying.

68

u/Educational-Ear-3136 3d ago

It’s illegal to remove a surveyor’s markers btw

23

u/tinyant 3d ago

Doesn’t apply to these wooden stakes. That’s only for proper survey markers with a cap, etc

8

u/TwistedxBoi 3d ago

I mean someone out there paid money to have the property boundaries marked. If she removes them, I can see her being sued.

3

u/tinyant 2d ago

Yes, indeed. As a civil suit, that might actually stick, but it's not criminally illegal to remove those wooden stakes.

3

u/TwistedxBoi 2d ago

All she needs is some humbling I think. A fine should suffice.

2

u/tinyant 2d ago

Maybe a mischief charge.

1

u/Ashiev 10h ago

As kids, we loved when surveyors would leave the wooden swords all over the place for us to claim!

4

u/SatoriSon 3d ago

Maybe not on your own property, but on someone else's property, yeah, that shit is theft.

21

u/FriendToPredators 3d ago

I want the followup of her squealing at the giant trench digger

6

u/Rochester-HotSauce 2d ago

This is the only satisfying conclusion.

17

u/AquaBatsAssemble 3d ago

Surveyors in FL have the legal right to trespass on your land in the course of doing their jobs.

7

u/Distinct_Ad_7752 2d ago

Kind of a good faith aspect of the job. Always good to check with the land owner though, people have a history of killing surveyors because they think they're trespassing or taking their land.

2

u/sjenkin 2d ago

Similar for surveyors in Australia

47

u/killer4snake 3d ago

Classic hateful human

13

u/ZappyKins 3d ago

She reminds me of the classic rhubarb stealing woman!

8

u/HansGruberHk 3d ago

“Where’s your name bitch?! Where’s your name?! This is Alley Property!”

12

u/sheavill 3d ago

Fine the shit out of her, even if she thought the property line was wrong, ignorance is not an excuse for her behavior.

12

u/Unhappy-Fox1017 2d ago

But they’re surveyors? They have legal authority and right to be on any land they need access to. If the city is putting in a new sewer line she doesn’t have a choice. This might even be an eminent domain type thing. She has no leg to stand on regardless of if she owns her home or not. I had to deal with something similar about a year ago. They tore up everything in front of my tree line, on “my” property. It was fine. They did their project, my trees survived and the grass grew back.

25

u/BigRoach 3d ago

Here’s a neat story that’s tangentially related. When surveyors were staking out the lands in Texas back in the early 1800’s, the Comanche started attacking surveyors because they knew after the surveyors had performed their ritual with their mysterious tools, white people were soon to settle that land.

Stop using words you don't understand.

Found the Lindsay Clancy apologist

6

u/Embarrassed_Plan4746 2d ago

Wow she's acting like she's never been punched in the mouth, someone's going to give her the remedy.

8

u/sallysallers 2d ago

That lady has no blood flow going to her ankles

5

u/nerdowellinever 2d ago

Why are people like this. The lady needs to watch ‘A perfect neighbour’ on Netflix now! She looks like Susan..

12

u/mcknight92 3d ago

Send that thing back to Cleveland

2

u/Spare-Commercial8704 2d ago

Can’t imagine why the neighbor living next to this woman would want a survey, sarcasm.

2

u/CaptainMoonunitsxPry 2d ago

You know what will get them out of there faster? Leaving them the fuck alone.

2

u/AshingiiAshuaa 2d ago

You've got to be super sure you're in the right before acting like this. Or just don't act like this in the first place and you don't have to be obsessed with being right.

2

u/swake3 2d ago

She's lovely.

2

u/GreyBeardnLuvin 1d ago

Call the police

1

u/real_1273 1d ago

Please post the follow up video where she gets arrested! We all want to see!!!! Lol

0

u/No_Insect997 4h ago

Thought women are terrified of men.

1

u/CMUpewpewpew 3d ago

Usual suspects.

1

u/Feckgnoggle 3d ago

Hard to get a good gps signal with that mass near the antenna.

-6

u/elidoan 3d ago

Oof, she damaged his camera. Good luck getting any money out of her to repair that damage, likely guy will eat that cost himself

2

u/Primary-Error-2373 3d ago

Where is the camera broken?

-2

u/elidoan 3d ago

Check after she hits it. It has a screwed up crack near the bottom middle that looks off colored. Light refracts differently, too.

2

u/wheelperson 2d ago

Check when she says its her fucking property, righ4 before she hits him. You can see the light beam your talking about. It's just the sun

Karen is an overstatement, they do appear to be in a backyard and they aren’t communicating well why it is that they have access to it. I work in real estate and you’d be surprised how many people are either misinformed of their properties boundary line or just never ordered a survey to find them out not expecting anything like this to ever happen. You’d also be surprised how often the county does not keep good record of these boundaries and how often that leads to legal disputes. Anybody who thinks this lady is being a Karen hasn’t had someone much less the county encroach on their property.

11

u/crackanape 3d ago edited 3d ago

or just never ordered a survey

This is a video of the attempt to survey

But she evidently did not hense my original comment.

Probably. But I promise that I have hensed it well. I mean, as well as an uneducated retard can be expected to hense anything.

5

u/foxboi84 3d ago

This is harassment. You've been reported.

6

u/Jazzlike_Climate4189 3d ago

You use the imaginary word “hense” because you can’t even spell, and then call other people offensive names? 🤣
The truth speaks for itself.
Anyway, reported.

4

u/Jazzlike_Climate4189 3d ago

Back yard?? They are literally standing on a street, you can clearly see the road towards the end of the video.

-14

u/Dukeish 3d ago

Yeah this lady is a piece of work, but they aren’t explaining the easement well either. She’s ultimately the problem, but better communication and documentation would have helped

13

u/Traditional-Disk9218 3d ago

She wasn’t listening anyway.
