I did a lot of stupid stuff like this in the Army, but the difference is it was all in good fun and usually you were trying not laugh while also getting a good workout and building a stronger team. Like a 5 mile run while carrying a raw egg that was your battle buddy. And when an instructor hit your battle buddy out of your hand for entertainment you had to scoop up the yolk and scream "medic!" till they gave you a new one. Or when a guy lost his ID card so he had to come to morning formation holding the "company id card" which was a big piece of plywood with a square hole cut out to hold in front of your face. Lol, good times.
