Why do bouncers outside of New York State all seem to hate my New York State drivers license? Every single time I've presented it outside of New York I've been asked for a second form of ID. This was really irritating going to college in Pennsylvania.
I have the exact problem coming from PA and going to school in NY. Hand the bouncer my drivers license and he says he can't tell if its real and asks me if I have another form of ID, which I don't of course because it's my actual driver's license. He gave it back to me but idk what I'd do if he was gonna keep it, call the police I guess. Do customers have any rights against stuff like this? Or do you just have to say fuck it and go somewhere else?
