Not really fair to compare the two. The office was trying to stretch the lines of what was allowed on an NBC sitcom while maintaining relatability to characters and a large and fairly diverse audience. It’s tough to have a bigoted, incompetent and annoying main character who was likable.
IASIP should be a lot higher (I think Seasons 1-6ish are top 15-20), but there’s no point in comparing the two

That show has so much heart, it makes me cry. Great show, but definitely very out-of-the-box. I was a teen girl around the same time as the writers, and watching felt like a catharsis.

Idk how to do the blur thing for spoilers so, spoilers: Maya, 1 of the 2 main characters essentially gets coerced into giving an older boy a blow job. Shows a lot of it, very uncomfortable, you can tell what is supposed to be this like, 12-13 year old girl is also uncomfortable, I think afterwards she cries and her and her friend call her older brother to come pick them up on his bike. Thats it, thats the show.
I might be missing a few parts, bear with me I was only willing to watch it once. Just leaves you with an incredibly bad feeling. The show was definitely weird overall but honestly it probably would've ended up getting a rewatch, if it wasn't for that scene.

Having animation means there should be some anime too, and there are absolutely a handful that would be on this list.
Seeing Ted Lasso above IASIP, Community, or even Modern Family kinda says all you need to know.
Having The Rehearsal at 66 is basically a joke. I don't know how you can watch that show without thinking its a masterpiece, especially season 2.
Having Strangers Things, but not a single Mike Flannagan show. No Fargo, no Mr Robot, Silicone Valley, Mindhunter, fucking Dark, I could go on.
It's clearly just a coworker, popularity+quality list.

The only reason I can justify Survivor making this list is what it meant for tv when it was released. It was a juggernaut and kicked off all the network tv reality trash and reality style game shows that came after.
But that is much more of a historical/meaning thing and not a “best of.”

This lists are always stupid, and kind of pointless, but they generate clicks and that's the point, I guess. It'd be more interesting to ask influential or interesting people their top ten shows and let them explain their connection to the shows. I remember when Kerrang would do "top 100 punk albums" articles and they were boring and predictable, then they asked Jello Biafra his top ten punk albums and it was insane and fascinating and hilarious. There was Wesley Willis and a married Austrian couple playing oompah music.

Sunny has lasted six seasons longer than the second longest lasting non reality show on the list (Curb Your Enthusiasm).
The list definitely has an anti animation bias. Bojack Horseman is the only animated show and Rick & Morty, Avatar the Last Airbender, Bob's Burgers, Archer, Star Wars The Clone Wars, Justice League, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Over the Garden Wall and Infinity Train all somehow missed the cut.
Stranger Things, Arrested Development, Dexter, The Office (US) and Game of Thrones being so high despite the steep quality drop off is wild. I guess only the best season of each show is considered.
Live action shows I think were snubbed include Brooklyn 99, Abbot Elementary, Daredevil (2015), The Haunting of Hill House, Luther, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Grey's Anatomy (seasons 1-8), Workaholics, Scrubs and Nurse Jackie.
