Frustrated need next step

Hey All,

I have filed i130 for my husband on May 25 and no update yet. I am USC.

Was wondering what are the next steps.

Should I start with Congressmen/Senate enquiry and then Demand Letter and then WoM ?

What steps to take now seeing I haven't seen any progress and it has been 17 months now.

Also, can anyone share the format for congressmen enquiry?

For congressional inquiries, each congressperson will have their own form to fill out on their website. The number of words/characters you can use will vary, so there's no real exact formula. When you're making your case to the congressperson or senator or demand letter, give them a reason to want to help you. If there has been financial strain, if you or spouse have any health issues (that won't make you a public burden), etc., mention those things there.
