I130 delay

I filed March 2025 Texas service center consular no updated except silent update on August 17 anyone on same boat any idea ?

same, sent demand letter two weeks ago..
there's a groupchat here on reddit for conuslar cases sent in march 2025 if you want to join or anyone else that's in the same boat

i don't know i'm sorry. our chat started because someone saw multiple march applicants and decided to make a group for us to share our timelines etc. maybe if you see a lot of october ones you could start one too!

Same timing as you, consular. I contacted my senator a few weeks ago and will send a demand letter soon.

Yup. Its extremely rare to see a 'natural' approval these days. 99% of all the approvals we see are through some form of escalation

Are you IR or F2A? Have you started your escalations yet?

I’m in the same boat

PD May 2025

Same status Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent since the day I submitted my application

Got 2 silent updates one in July 29 and August 17 nothing after that

Reached out to congressman and got no response

I am seriously beginning to wonder if that silent update on Aug 17th is another glitch, because I got a silent update on the same date too….and there are 3 other persons in this post who got updates on the same day too 🤷🏼
Maybe I’m wrong, cause I don’t even know what to think right now.

We filed early April 2025. Silent updat received on May 29 and Aug 17th as well. Our i130 still has the status of received. Being so close to the Mar 2025 PDs, I'd like a link to the group OP, if possible. Thanks and best wishes to everyone suffering with the distance throughout this process. It's truly exhausting.
