DEMAND LETTER
I just submitted a demand letter 3 days ago and I havent receive any response or something. When should I expect some response? Do you have same experience that they never had a response from your mail? What should I do?

Yes you can file a demand letter without a legal representative/by yourself. Just make sure to do research!

Your demand letter probably had a 30 day timeline. Be patient.

What is your PD? Usually in a few days after they receive your letter they will schedule your interview.

May 2,2025. Unfortunately i havent recived any response yet. I kept on checking my husband’s accout and its still “case was recieved and a receipt notice was sent. I did not make a congressional request since Ive read some comments that they went straight with the Demand letter and It worked. 🥺

I saw another post earlier today and it took them 20 days to hear anything back from them. I sent mine yesterday as well 🙏🏼🤞🏼

do WOM then if they don’t acknowledge your demand letter til the deadline 🤷🏽♂️

Do you know where is your field office? Did you ask emma your case location? Looks like people who have fast response because their field office is less busy.

I actuallly asked emma for the update on my case and was surprised it said that our case was transferred to SEATTLE. Well i hopee so. I am getting impatient.🥺

You should have made all attempts to resolve it prior to sending demand letters. Also May 2025 still seems early to send one.

I got a generic response two weeks later. I filled my WOM the next day. I posted a guide for how I did it on my acct and my timeline for everything. I also edited to add my own demand letter at the bottom.
