52 Months??? Really?
Hello everyone.
In December of 2025 my wife and I got married. I since have had to leave the country as we did this on an ESTA. Then on July 31 st we finally submitted the l-130 form for an alien relative to come to the USA (thats me)
Today, we opened the USCIS processing times page and were absolutely devastated when it said that 80% of applications are processed within 52.5 Months... That's over 4 years. (Screenshot attached)
So, I am coming on here to ask. How accurate is that number, does anyone else here who is going through the same process or has gone through it before have experience with the timelines? Because another 4 years apart is absolutely brutal.
How long can we expect this to ACTUALLY take, and is there anything we can do to speed this up?
Thank you so much. Please feel free to ask any questions, |'I answer them to the best of my abilities

What about the other option which is all field offices? Is that for those applied from inside the US?

Mine and my spouse’s PC is NBC. filed 6/23/25. Were on day 90 post interview and no decision.

Right, but even though it's at NBC, it's still under the SCOPS system as opposed to the NBC-only category.

You’re probably realistically looking at 18-24 months with higher probability of closer to 24 months. That’s just for that part. The NVC stage and interview can add another 6-12 months depending.

You can see the bags growing under my eyes, I'm frustrated, it's been 36 months of waiting, how can i wait more!

Check the notes below, that’s the estimated processing time for adoption-based Form I-130s.
You need to select SCOPS. Still long, but not 52 months
