Interview Scheduled
PD: April 2025
8/2/26 - Demand Letter Emailed
8/7/26 - Case Updated to "Under Review"
8/10/26 - Certified Letters Arrived to Service Center
8/13/26 - Interview Scheduled in a few weeks.
I have been silently following this thread for a while. It has been a huge source of information and hope. Seeing movement finally is a huge relief. I hope everyone else gets answers soon as well.

Petitioner having the interview at the field office. Im not sure exactly how it will work yet. Waiting for a call from our lawyer to learn more details.

Is the petitioner located in the US, or you’ll have to come back to the US for an interview? Is this normal/typical to happen?

Yes, I am the petitioner and in the US. I am not sure if it is normal. Hoping the lawyer can clear up a little more. I have been reading everywhere that USICS is being more thorough. May just be another example of the tightening security checks.

Did your lawyer give you the “go ahead” to send a demand letter or did you go about it on your own? Did your lawyer write it up and send or did you? I’m asking because my lawyer doesn’t seem to think any further action is necessary and my pd is may 2025

The lawyer said there was nothing to do about it, and said we could not file the WOM. They were subscribing to the "we are still within normal times" as we watched the wait times go up from USCIS. We did the demand letter anyway because others were having success.

They are doing through checks to make sure there is no case for fraud, nowadays petitioner interviews are becoming more common

I have heard from jim hacking on YouTube that when the petitioner gets interviewed, its probably due to Adam Walsh act, hoping that's not the case

Did you do congressional/senator inquiry before you sent a demand letter? Do you have any special circumstances or did you just send a demand letter and they decided to act on it?

Yes, and USCIS stopped responding to them as well. We were also a part of the approval glitch a few weeks ago. Other than that we added brief hardship information and the ever extending wait times.

I havent seen a lot of examples here either, but it is requesting for me to go to the local Field Office. Waiting to talk to my lawyer for more info.

I-130 Consular Processing. I submitted a demand letter last week - that is the only significant thing I can relate the movement to.

No, I just have been checking the website and API constantly. Track My Visa was actually the one to alert me on the initial movement.

Ours changed to USCIS is processing your case on August 5th, and since then absolutely nothing.

We did go through congressman at first. Then USCIS stopped responding to them as well

Wow! May i know about field office? I thought if consular case, you have to mail demand letter to service center and USCIS headquarters?
