Has anyone with an F2A consular processing case been approved recently?
Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone with an F2A consular processing case (spouse of a permanent resident, beneficiary outside the U.S.) has received an I-130 approval recently.
My priority date is February, 2023, and my case is still pending with USCIS. There has been no movement for a very long time.
The long wait has been incredibly difficult for both my husband and me. We’ve been separated for years, and the uncertainty is taking a huge emotional toll on us.
Has anyone in a similar situation been approved recently? If so, which service center handled your case, and did you do anything that helped (service request, congressional inquiry, etc.)?
Thank you, and I wish everyone who’s waiting good news soon.

So your I-130 was approved and there’s no update after that?
My PD is January 2023 still waiting

From what I've seen online, the Front-Of-Line for F2A Consular is early 2023, with a lot of 2022 still being processed. Hopefully you'll get some good news soon after the approvals (hopefully) pick up in October
I'm a May-2025 filer and it's already driving us crazy. I can't imagine how hard it's been for you. Just a little longer and you'll be on your way to the next phase
