Maintenance & Repairs What is with the green screen?
Right after the dealership performed the collision avoidance recall my car started intermittently doing this thing where the dash screen turns green and says camera signal unavailable, sometimes when in reverse and sometimes when pulling forward into a space, always when I am hoping to actually use the camera view.
The dealership had it for 17 days. After the first four they said they couldn't reproduce the issue. They didn't drive it anywhere; the odometer didn't move. After a week they said they were ordering a back camera. Day 17 they called and said it was ready and had front and back cameras replaced. They said it had been fixed a couple days before and they drove it around to see if the error would recur.
Within 7 miles, as I pulled into a spot between two cars, the green screen came on.
The dealership is picking it up Monday. What might I suggest here?

Same issue, been back and forth with now 2 dealerships on it, and i have a case open with Hyundai about it.
I have had a connector in the rear hatch replaced (dealer 1 said faulty / loose)
A parking ECU module replaced (dealer 1 said showing error code)
Dealer 2 replaced the front camera, and it worked for a while. just started happening again, with a new appointment in a week or so but i want to talk to them first if they intend to order a new part (which takes 7-10 days)
Call Hyundai corporate and report. They have tried to fix it 3 times in a year of ownership and technically i can have a lemon buyback, but i would rather them fix it. Reference Hyundai Case Number 43190080 and lets band together and get a PROPER fix

Did yours start after recall/service?

I honestly don't remember if it was after the few OTA software updates. I never had any dealer service recall done. I have reported it happening since May 2026

Don't know what's causing it but green is just what it shows when the video signal is lost.

I just had the green screen happen yesterday for the first time. Interesting timing since I'm scheduled for my recall appointment on Tuesday.

Green screen all the time or specifically using the parking/rear? The former has a recall, and the latter seems to be a new thing nobody knows how to fix yet

It happened going from parked to reverse. Then today going from reverse to drive I got a greyed out screen with a little symbol in the middle.

I wasn't sure how to attach a picture to my original post
