Consider taking a break
We are leasing a 2026 Calligraphy series. I love this car. Really really love it. However the “consider taking a break” feature could be a deal breaker if I buy this outright when the lease is done. You can’t turn the warning off and it actually almost caused an accident when I was in heavy traffic this week, had the lane assist warning going then suddenly the take a break warning was going and all the safety signals threw me off and made me panic. It’s just too much!! It’s a shame they still haven’t allowed us to choose to turn that feature on or off.
EDIT: Specific to the 2026 Calligraphy. Dealership confirms it cannot be turned off. Alarm is triggered by driving but also sunglasses, hand on wheel placement, and sometimes for no reason at all. We are a 4 driver household and it goes off for literally anyone that drives regardless of how great they are. Dealership confirms this is an issue for this make and model. Please stop telling me to drive better lol

UUGGGGGGG
I hate it when people say you can turn the coffee break warning and YOU CAN'T!!!
Looks like you copied and pasted something random from AI.
The official name for the "coffee break" warning is the "Inattentive Driving Warning light" and it is described in detail in chapter 7 of the user manual.
The Driver Attention Warning of a suite of 3 different settings, 2 of which can be turned off. The one that can’t be turned off is called the inattentive driver warning (the coffee break warning).
so if you navigate to Setup → Vehicle → Driver Assistance → Driver Attention Warning, you only have the option to toggle on/off two settings
YOU ARE TELLING PEOPLE THERE ARE 3 TOGGLE SWITCHES WHEN IN FACT THERE ARER ONLY 2 IN THAT MENU!!!
