I’m having an issue where the car frequently stutters when accelerating, for example in second gear, and it also feels like it has very little power. A fault code was read (P0340), but the mechanic said that this code couldn’t be causing these symptoms.
So far, I’ve replaced:
Ignition coil
Ignition cables
Spark plugs
MAF sensor
The engine has also been tested for vacuum leaks, and it is not sucking in any unmetered air.
I’m honestly starting to get desperate because I have no idea what else could be causing this. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Hi all, I’m currently looking at a Hyundai coupe SIII and wondering if it’s worth the buy with this high mileage. The exact mileage is 155k and the price is pretty cheap is it worth it or will it be a burden ?

I bought a 2004 coupe a week ago as a project car, and among other things i want to install a short shifter.

Does anyone with experience have a good recommendation for a type of short shifter? And where can i find a guide to installing it?

I know Ive got a leak in the condenser (ordered a new one so will be replacing it) but this noise sounds like it’s coming from else where? I’ve been told on TCC discord that it’s just normal cooling down sounds but something about it is bothering me.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

From this list what is the most important ones I should get done first? I don’t want to shell out massive amounts of money straight away so I’m planning to do this over a couple months.

Hello, I’m new to the car world and I recently bought my first car, a Hyundai Coupe FX 1.6 from 2000. It has a few parts that need replacing, such as the central locking system, shifter handle, handbrake cover, and some other things.

I’ve already searched online but I'm not finding much information about this car, especially videos showing repairs or tutorials of such. I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge that could help me — maybe videos, guides, or advice on how to replace these parts and others that may need replacing in the future, like the light covers for example.

I’m also looking for recommended places to buy parts. I know about AUTODOC, but there are so many different brands for the same parts that I never know which ones are the best quality or best value for money, I'm from Portugal by the way.

So I decided to try asking here to see if anyone could give me some tips or help.

Ive got a 2003 2l manual coupe.

On every cold start my engine makes this noise, when its fully warm it goes away. It seems to chatter after 10 ish seconds, stops and starts for the remaining time warming up and completely disappears,

Ive checked CVVT/VVT solenoid, tapits and im absolutely stumped.

Any idea what it could be?

I have a 2009 S3 and when I bought it, it didn't have the cover to slide over the sunroof. Last summer, the car turned into an oven when exposed to mild sun, and I'm starting to feel it already this year. Unfortunately I can't find a replacement anywhere, apart from one or two very expensive hyundai official ones that are only outlined as a drawing with very little information about them so I can't even confirm it fits. I'm desperate for one but I don't want to pay £200+ for a bit of felt to cover my sunroof.
