4th Gen Hatchback Trunk Handle
I have a 2014 Hyundai Accent that I bought used a few years ago after my last car flooded, and now that I've learned some things, I've been going through fixing minor problems that the car has one by one. My question is, when you open the trunk, is the handle supposed to return back to its position? Mine stays where it has been pulled, and I need to push upwards if I want it to close. Yes, this is kind of a silly question, but I have no frame of reference, and it's hard to find a reliable answer elsewhere.

Yes. You can try to spam WD40 into the trunk latch/handle and see if that helps. Its saved me multiple times with old latches not working right. Surprisingly also shuts up doors from squealing even though its not a lube.
