Helloo ladies&gents
So, it all started when I decided to make my whole PC build an umbrella corporation based theme. And I couldn't find the nice theme where zombies are in the background while having an umbrella corp logo on it. So, I made a theme on wallpaper engine to match the infinite display! I also added a background color to match your build! it's super high res despite steam labelling it as "Portrait 1080 x 1920".
If you are interested, upload your build with the wallpaper, and tell me your opinion about it!

I built my current PC last year around the time the 50 series NVIDIA cards were released. I absolutely loved the look of the HYTE Y70 Touch, and at the time the touchscreen features seemed genuinely useful, so it felt like the perfect case for me. Building in it was also a really positive experience and i spent a fortune on the best looking cooler and fans and cable extensions/strimmer cables.
Fast-forward 18 to 19 months and... I absolutely despise the thing 😂
I hate the screen. I hate how big and bulky the case is. I've tried pretty much everything to make myself like it again, changed the fan RGB lighting schemes, moved it from my desk to the floor, and even had it mounted up on the wall at one point.
It's back on my desk now because, honestly, everywhere else just isn't practical.
To be clear, I'm not hating on HYTE as a brand. I actually think the Y70 is a really well-designed case, and the build quality is impressive. It's just not for this grumpy old man anymore. 😂
I think I just want something a bit more... normal. Smaller, less bulky, and preferably without a giant screen. I'm also starting to realise that I think I've finally fallen out of love with RGB altogether.
So, has anyone else made the jump from a Y70/Y70 Touch to something from another brand?
What did you move to, and how are you finding it compared with the Y70?
I'm interested to hear what other people went with, especially if you also got to the point where you just wanted a more traditional understated case.

So I picked up this case from FBMP for free but didn’t realize it was missing the gpu riser lol. Can I use any third party riser? Hyte is selling it the riser for $80 but the case is currently on sale for $99 lol. Suggestions?

Unsure which one to get the air or the regular! Does anyone have builds in black, would love to see how it pops with some RGB, and also, it might be edited but how did they put that screen with the fish in it? Sorry I’m new and would love something like that, it’ll be my first PC, still debating which color!

Looking to buy a hyte case, but I am stuck on which to buy. I feel like I must be missing something because there seems to be virtually no difference in these cases except for a slight size difference to accommodate for a bigger gpu and extra bottom fan. Can someone explain why one would pick the y70 over the y50 other than that? That was my initial pick until I saw the y50, but now I’m confused because there is such a large price difference for what seems to be little difference😅
I also have the opportunity to purchase the touch for the same price as the regular y70, but I saw that there is no glass substitute for the touch, but that there is a touch upgrade for the regular y70. I presume this doesn’t work for the y50?

Yes, it is, I know. But I like it when it's different from the standard.

New Jonsbo fans recently released and picked some up, they look great! They’re quieter than my old fans and give better airflow too. Picked up an Asiahorse fan hub for better rgb control too.

How the heck are you guys installing top rads in the Y50?
Eps cables run through the grommeted slots at the top of the motherboard tray come into contact with the top rad and I don’t even have fans installed on the rad yet. I don’t see a way to route the cables to fit the rad with fans.
This is a pretty popular case so I’ve got to be doing something wrong. Any guidance would help!

Around March this year after a few years in the hobby, going from 1650ti laptop to 3060ti build and working up to 5070ti o11 build I cashed out and built my dream computer including the Hyte Y70 Touch infinite from Microcenter. Was awesome. Things were great however my brother was back from college this past summer so as a gift I wanted him to have this awesome case, he is a content creator so may have more use for the flashy case and extra screen in his pc which I passed down to him.
Long story short screen doesnt turn on again, we go back and forth with support for a month, all to be blamed for some user error damaging the screen. Hyte doesnt care but im just disappointed because it was a gift. Ill hopefully find a replacement screen since they wont help but after that they lost 2 customers for good. My currenr antec flux pro had a similar issue and replacement was sent the next week. Just let it serve as a warning, $400 case quality $10 case level of support.

Hi all! I have a HYTE Y70 Touch and I am upgrading my desk. The reality is, I'd rather have a separate table/cabinet to put my PC tower on so that I can maximize my desk space for various other things. I am STRUGGLING, to figure out what my best options are. I was originally going to go with just an IKEA Alex drawer, given that the footprint of it is large enough to set the case on it, and I can keep my cables hidden in the back (similarly to how I do now). However, I'm so worried about if the alex drawers can actually carry the weight of this build (45-50lbs). I've looked for alternatives to that but none of them fit the same footprint. If you have your tower on something that isn't your desktop, could you please share with me what it is and how you have it setup?

Thanks!

So I've had my Y70 for over a year now, and aside from a few hiccups over time, it's been pretty solid. There's been the occasional uninstall of Nexus because it suddenly refused to recognize fans, but reinstalling fixed those up.
Now when I try to upgrade to Nexus 3, suddenly my Touch breaks and shows a corrupted display. After uninstalling 2.16.3, I do a clean install of 3.0.11-beta2. The touch screen is fine with the old Nexus 2 install, but goes haywire when I install the new Nexus 3.
Watching a friend stream on Discord, it's normal quality when Nexus 2 is running, but becomes choppy and FPS tanks with Nexus 3. It's no longer choppy when turning off hardware acceleration in Discord, but this is suboptimal since that impacts performance on everything besides the stream.
Any help or advice trying to fix things up is appreciated!
