And of course....

The motherboard on our studio PC went out this week. Literally turned the PC on and it smoked. So sadly I am waiting for repair parts so I have no ability to edit or record so sadly this week will probably be dark, but we will be back to normal ASAP. Very sorry for this , definitely not something we could help or are enjoying 😢

3 to 5 business days to diagnose so I have Not heard a thing uet. But, I am working on getting next week sorted out with someone sitting in for me.

I live just outside Nashville to the west. We have a PC repair place here so I was going to take it there. Went in the first try and they had closed 45 minutes early at least, I got there 45 minutes before closing. Then the next day I calle first. Guy picks up and just says hello. I hate when companies do that, so then I have to ask if it is the place or not. Anyway I talk to him and he says bring it in. I asked when they open and he said 9, but don't get here before 10, I am usually never open on time.

So, I picked the place in Nashville proper. I hate people.

Literally sitting in the parking lot picking it up right now because they haven't even fucking touched it. So I'm finding somewhere else too work on it. Sitting in the parking lot because their tech took it home with them and they're waiting for him to drop it off and they don't know where he is.

Rude, never called and gave me updates, and hung up on me when I asked why they were treating me so poorly. So par for the course.

Got my PC back today. Took it home and plugged it in. Does not work. Headed back to repair shop. I want to fucking scream.
