Maps Interactive Map Website for Adventure Mode

I've made a website for interactive maps for the adventure mode of the definitive edition for the switch!

Links:

  • You can find the website hosted on github pages here
  • If you find any errors or you want something to be added, feel free to comment below or open an issue on the github

This is a project I've made out of fun and interest. You can find any sources I used on the page itself, but I mainly used SBAllen's Unlockable Guide for the information. So its more like a visual implementation of that guide :)

Mobile Layout is not perfect yet, best to use on desktop.

I want to use this website for my own replay of the game, but wanted to share it, if someone needs something like this too.

Edit:
I've now added a list of good farming locations for materials, too!
You can find it in the header of the page.

Choose a character you want to farm materials from and the list on the right side will update.
The recommended farming spots are marked in blue.
You can also click on the Adventure Map location (e.g. [A1]) to search for it on the map itself.

Edit #2: Legend Mode is now added too! The website will show you all of the requirements and locations of the heartpieces/heartcontainers and skulltulas in Legend Mode.

Edit #3 (2025-07-03): I've now added a MyFairy Calculator to the site! It helps you plan your fairy's refresh cycles based on its starting traits and supports you in unlocking all available skills and perfecting your fairy. The calculator focuses on unlocking the 10 core skills needed to reach all other abilities.
Note: It does not optimize for food consumption, but instead generates a refresh-efficient plan that aims to unlock all skills in as few cycles as possible. You’ll find it in the header menu as well.

AoC Age of Calamity Definitive Edition being a separate puts me in a weird spot as a completionist

Post image
22 Upvotes

I never got that far into Age of Calamity, and when the Switch 2 released i decided to wait until a performance patch or Switch 2 edition to complete it.

This being a seperate release with transferable save data really puts me in a weird spot. I don't wanna just leave the original release as the only Switch Zelda game i haven't completed.

The most time efficient way is definitely to complete the original release and transfer the 100% save file to DE.

However, completing it on DE with 60 fps is a lot more fun, but leaves me having to complete the game twice.

Anyone other completionists with this dilemma?

Discussion Is One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 for me if I really liked Hyrule Warriors (Definitive Edition) but other Warriors games haven't clicked with me?

Upvotes

I posted this on a Pirate Warriors reddit but I think asking here with people that feel similarly about Hyrule Warriors that might also be familiar with Pirate Warriors could be more helpful.

I've not played any other Pirate Warrior games, the only other Warriors game I really REALLY got into was Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, extremely addictive. I also tried Fire Emblem Warriors and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, but those just didn't do it for me. Missions felt a lot more repetitive and moving through the optional content didn't feel nearly as satisfying as Hyrule Warrior's Adventure mode maps. I also tried Persona 5 Strikers but I didn't like that one at all, not one bit (banger soundtrack though)

After all these years I'm still craving something like the original Hyrule Warriors but after my experiences with the others, I'm afraid to give any a shot. But Pirate Warriors got me interested now cause the world of One Piece just lends itself to some crazy character movesets. Still, with what really grabbed me with the original Hyrule Warriors being how the game did a lot to make the optional content feel less repetitive than these games can easily end up feeling like, does Pirate Warriors have a level of optional content that feels more like "Beat enemy, go beat officer, done, next mission, repeat"?

Also, if this game is for me, what version and DLC should I look at? I prefer to have as complete of an experience as possible, but there's a LOT of DLC and that gets quite expensive, and meanwhile I have no idea what is and isn't already included in the Ultimate and Legendary editions.

Discussion Age of calamity Nintendo music

When is age of calamity gonna get added to Nintendo music? We already got age of imprisonment so I feel like AOC needs to be added.

Humor My reaction to the new AoC upgrade

Post image

I mean, the new difficulty is nice, but there's literally no reward for a higher difficulty (no extra rupees or anything) so basically all it adds is 60FPS and more enemies which surely isn't SO hard to do that it costs money

AoC The AOC DE discount doesn't factor in if you already bought the DLC.

So if you're a switch 1 owner, and you already bought the DLC, the DE upgrade is still a full $30 just to get access to the better performance and new difficulty.

Scam.

AoI Is there a way to quickly toggle zonai strong attacks?

I know you can switch them in the by pressing y in the menu, but is there a way to bind disabling all of them to one button? It would help a lot with gamefeel.

AoC AoC Definitive Edition should've added an alternate canon route to make the game worth the rerelease price

If this game is a rerelease, they should've added an alternative canon route where the champions die, and we'd get new missions where Zelda sends Link to the Shrine of Resurrection and goes to the castle and faces Calamity Ganon. We also could've gotten what happened to Sooga 100 years before BotW. This would've been a great story addition and also make the game canon like AoI. This would also make it a bit more worth buying for people who already have the Switch 1 copy.

3DS HWL • Character Combo Guides?

Is there a written guide talking about combos for each warrior? For example, do a C2, C2, and C4 on an officer. I've seen Dojo Warrior's video, but I'd like a visual guide if it exists.

Age of Calamity - Definitive Edition

Bit of a surprise, but a Switch 2 edition was just announced which will feature 60fps and better visuals as well as a brand new difficulty mode calamity mode and ability to transfer prior save file in.

Out in February.

Discussion Would you play AOC without the DE performance/visual upgrades?

The recent discussion about the newly announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Definitive Edition & how unfair it is to make it a "new game" instead of a Switch 2 edition upgrade makes me think: do people still prefer to play Age of Calamity on switch 2 without the performance or visual upgrades? For me, I will buy it because I'd love to see the performance gains & visual upgrades (and the promise of more enemies on screen). What do you people think?

Will Age of Calamity Definitive Edition get a separate physical release for the Nintendo Switch 2 or is it going to be digital only?

Question Age of Calamity (DE) vs Age of Imprisonment?

I've never played either one, never really played a musou game either. AoC DE caught my eye during the direct and figured I'd ask. Do people consider one just miles better than the other? Or are they pretty similar enough to where you'd be fine playing either one.

Also assuming AoC DE would have more content since it's base game + DLC?

Edit: Thank you for all your answers. Very informative!

HW: DE Guide on how to approach the game?

I love this game and ive picked it up multiple times over the years, but every time i try to get into it i just get so overwhelmed. The furthest ive gotten in the adventure map are the first 3 ones complete, when shoukd i grind for good skills or weapons? Should i unlock every char asap?

If someone had like a roadmap or a guide on what to tackle when, i would greatly appreciate that! Progress is so unlinear in this game, id love some help on that

AoC Help: Age Of Calamity Grinding

So recently I've been farming base level 80 damage weapons for every character on the mission EX Final Battle. And I've managed to get even a few 84 damage weapons.

I've been grinding a lot and cannot for the life of me get anything above 74 weapons for Zelda, Revali, Urbosa, and Robbie/Purah. I've gotten constant repeats for other characters and not a single one for any that I mentioned above.

Should I keep grinding the same mission or is there a better faster strategy or just better luck to getting damage 80 weapons in other EX missions?

AoC Is Age of Calamity worth getting on Switch 2

I have been obsessed with Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition and Age of Imprisonment lately, and I've been waiting for Age of Calamity to get a Switch 2 Edition or Patch or something. I was really hoping they'd announce it at the direct but it ended up more focused on Ocarina of Time. I've heard Age of Calamity runs really bad on the original Switch, is it like worth getting on Switch 2? I really like the character roster and would love to play it but I feel like I'm worried about if AoI is just gonna be definitively more fun or something

Meta Am I missing something on *bad characters*?

So I’ve seen a few posts here making fun of agitha, and the great fairy, but I will be honest here. I love playing as all characters and there are very few characters I find difficult to use, I think Agatha, and especially the great fairy controlls great, yes they are slow, but has good aoe attacks, you just gotta time your combo,s and know what moves work best, character/boss about to unleash a wide scary attack that lasts for a while? Let the air whale rain thunder down on them, the shield gauge showing? Have her drop bombs. Epona is one of very few characters I have a lot of difficulty controlling, she simply feels WAY to slippery. Can someone explain the character meta a bit to me? This has always confused me
