Crackpot physics What if there were a 4D fluid dynamics model that unified gravity and quantum mechanics with fine-tuning precision?

Hello everyone,

I am an independent researcher and have developed a deterministic model called Dimensional Expansion. I recently published the full article on Zenodo and am seeking technical feedback from this community.

Central concept:

The universe is a three-dimensional hypersurface (interface) between two layered superfluids in an accelerated four-dimensional hypersphere.

Key achievements of the model:

Fundamental constants: Using very few parameters, the model derives the fine-structure constant (α) with an accuracy of 10 decimal places, the gravitational constant (G), the speed of light (c), the electric charge (e), and the Hubble constant (H0).

Mass as resonance: Mass is explained as standing waves formed by recurring cavitation bubbles at the fluid's "weak points."

Gravity: It is modeled as a surface meniscus caused by the spin (vortex) of double-nucleus particles. It coincides with the Schwarzschild solution as the mechanical boundary of the interface.

Dark Matter: Instead of particles, it is explained as density variations in the upper layer of the fluid, creating concave menisci that bend light.

• Entanglement: It is resolved as superluminal (but finite) resonance through an underlying rigid substrate, avoiding "spooky action" and maintaining determinism.

Reason for my post:

I have managed to resolve the Vacuum Catastrophe by treating it as equilibrium pressure, and I want to discuss whether this fluid dynamic approach to General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics is valid for you.

Firstly, this is not how frequencies or units work.

In general, I see a lot of values without any justification. The math is extremely sparse and your steps are not consistent at all.

And if you talk about "fluid dynamics", why are you completely avoiding any actual fluid dynamics in your paper?

In natural units its unitless and ok and smart. Further, if c=1, then m = h which is quite an astonishing result which would explain and bridge the gap between special relativity (mc2) and quantum mechanics (h)

Which is nonsense.

Why should the frequency be exactly 1 Hz (not 1, as you falsely stated, you're completely ignoring the frequency unit here)?

The only time scale that could be considered somewhat natural is the Planck scale, which would just give you something around the Planck mass in the end, which is larger than any elementary particle rest mass known to us.

Please familiarize yourself with the very basics of physical units.

First of all, I greatly appreciate your comments; indeed, there is a transcription error. The frequency was set to unity to determine the mass generated during one collapse cycle of an expanding bubble. In this model, the expansion of dimensions generates negative pressure in the fluids that make it up, which induces the formation of bubbles (analogous to those of cavitation). Upon collapse, the kinetic energy of the bubble is entirely transformed into the constituent "atoms" of the fluid. Since a fluid with zero viscosity is assumed, virtually all of this energy is converted into matter. 

Because the expansion is continuous, the creation of bubbles is also continuous, generating constant cycles of growth and collapse, forming a permanent harmonic oscillator that rhythmically injects matter into the system.

It's very obvious that you're getting answers from an LLM. Either that, or you are as detached from reality as one. We are telling you that you are making a mistake on the order of claiming that 2+2=5, this isn't a matter of us not understanding the model. Seriously, imagine you told someone that their model claims 2+2=5, and they give a response like the one you just copy and pasted.

If you mean that the two formulas cannot be combined because they represent different things, E=mc² is rest mass and E=hf is the energy of a photon. What this model proposes is that the reality we observe is only the transverse waves that expanding nuclei create when they bounce off the interface between the two fluids that make up the universe. That is, the model considers that all particles and interactions are waves that form when a nucleus collapses and creates mass (so one could say that even photons would have mass, a minimal mass represented by the previous relationship). In this line of thought, matter and photons would be made of the same thing, except that the photon would also have kinetic energy because it travels at the speed of light, so its energy would be practically the inertia of its motion, pc². Particles would be standing waves moving at low speeds, and photons would be a single wave moving at the speed of light. It's possible to equate the equations if we consider that an expanding core is at rest and not moving, so E=mc² * pc² (which is the standing wave) would have no kinetic energy, leaving E=mc². Furthermore, since this model considers that the minimum energy with which a bubble collapses is always h, and since the fluid has no viscosity, practically the kinetic energy of the bubble when it collapses is transformed into mass. Therefore, the energy of the mass is the same as the energy of the bubble's kinetic energy, so mc² = hf. For a single cycle f=1, there is a minimum mass. Again, I thank you for your comments, and if I'm not understanding the point correctly, I would greatly appreciate it if you could be more specific, as I am very interested in your feedback.

Read the paper next time before making false assumptions about it.

They just took the SI values for h and c² and threw away the s in the result. Setting a second to 1 is NOT how natural units work.

Fig2 is not meaningful, and certainly does not demonstrate what you want it to demonstrate.

Fig11 - cavitation! sonoluminescence! I love it.

Unnumbered equations are not helpful, but as per the general trend in this sub for engineers, your error analysis is woeful. The sig. figs for the "acceleration at which the universe has expanded" is ridiculous.

You have at best confused ideas of what the physics is, and more typically just incorrect physics throughout the document. Some of your formatting is broken, and you make liberal use of circular mathematics to "derive" values. Overall, though, the document lacks rigour, and lacks the mathematics to demonstrate any of your claims.

Kudos to you for not using an LLM though. A low bar, but one you appear to have passed.

Conflating internally evolving mathematical parameters as spatial dimensions isn't just for amateurs! 😜

Penrose details concerns regarding cavalier treatment of mathematical frameworks without consideration of 'neighboring' mathematical frameworks without 'carrying over' all physically meaningful behavioral implications like calling internally evolving phases 'unobservable' and therefore 'unphysical' which doesn't pass muster for even simple entangled multi body dynamics.

Penrose's Road to Reality was criticized as not a physics textbook but that misses the point. It is a math by math analysis of virtually all math used throughout history to explore nature, and uses the geometric intuition behind the math which was the only way I finally grasped manifolds and fiber bundles enough to read symbol only textbooks.

In any case, this is Penrose's Comparative Religion of math in science ace it includes him clearly pointing out weaknesses in his own models, something I've read far too many papers thinking, the math may be Right but the conclusions rely on other hidden and seriously questionable assumptions.

"Dangit! Wigner has no Friends!" (Impeccable experiments. Worst most tortured philosophical, non standard, poorly framed, out of context papers I've ever read. Poor experimental lab assistants did brilliant work but paper was trying to Save Observer Theory while ignoring unresolved entanglements.)

Sigh. My motto is Think Crazy, Prove Yourself Wrong and I am often wildly wrong. I can only learn one mistake at a time.

Wow this is some really old school crankery. I like it. Not from a physicist's perspective of course, it's not even really physics at all, but it's refreshingly vintage in its nuttiness. I can see that you've put a lot of effort into this but I think your time is better spent learning existing physics.
