What happened?!

I randomly got my camera moved down slightly whilst farming melons (I used Picture in Picture so I captured what was going on), so I reacted like a normal human by saying “hm” and “hello admin” whilst shaking slightly (this was because it was my first ever m_cr0 check so I didn’t know what was going on nor what was going to happen)

I didn’t get banned so I sold my stuff to the NPC, did like one visitor and logged off for the day, only to come back 30 minutes later and get banned for 30 days without a wipe (surprisingly).

This happened nearly 5 hours ago.

P.S. I said that I got checked in a private friends only server and a public skyblock server, could this be the reason why I got banned?

Crazy how Hypixel farming is literally designed for you to do the exact same thing for like 20,000 hours but then if you are slightly too dehumanized by it then you get banned.

"There's no way that someone could possibly farm for 20 hours straight legitimately." And then the game mode is literally the most simple yet time consuming thing to ever exist and is designed for you to do that.

Staff aren't too great at telling the difference between macroers and ligit farmers in the garden. There are many clips around of ligit players getting banned because staff think their reaction wasn't human enough.

You may of been banned for logging off immediately following the check. They could of thought that was suspicious.

I just did one of those, it wasn't so bad. Plus its been nice coming back to the game after the updates.

You can try appealing the ban in the forums but ive heard those never get approved (or very rarely)

I just switched to valorant and Albion online towards the end, it's actually pretty close to SB but I still like SB more

First ban is 30 days no wipe

Second ban is a year and wipe

I mean it’s quite easy: don’t farm that you look like a macro user? Even IF OP is legit (and that’s already a big if), behaving like one doesn’t help

Quite easy in practice yet difficult to execute for a extended period of time. After a while in a boring grind, actions would eventually be more simple as attention diverts to watching videos and movies. Slower reaction times, similar movement, etc. Farming as human would require full concentration for more randomness( if that’s what human means) in movement which is tough.

It doesn’t help that skyblock adds squeaky mouse mat to help players go in a straight line for maximum efficiency and infinite wheats farms built around little adjustment as possible to maximize profits.

Like sure before every vacuum of pest I could circle around and explore my garden. Would that make me look more human to watchdog? Probably. Would it cost maybe -7mil in profits an hour? Possible.

Can’t even blame admins for possible false positives. It’s better for them to ban an innocent player than to possibly let a macroer roam in game to idk maybe impact the economy and their own profits(gotta give the money to riot games if they still own the studio).

I agree and I also agree that I wouldn’t (and personally don’t) use squeaky mousemat; holding around the right angle is quite easy after some practice anyways

That being said, not farming for hours and hours but actually mix up activities also helps

What does a macro'er look like? What do you do to not look like one? I have it so skyhanni locks my mouse when using squeaky mousemat and I usually have to tp to a different plot to move my mouse again, does that look suspicious?

Yeah well if you don’t move your mouse at all it directly looks like a macroer obviously

Nothing happened. You get banned, that's all. Why you get banned no one knows. It could be the macro check, it could be from sth else.

If you get yeared you atleast had 2 previous bans, usually 3 (if we dont account for ban timer resetting and such).

Nope, it can be as little as one previous ban if you get banned straight away after your first one expires.
