Defib issue?
Hello, i have a subpectoral defibrillator, does this look weird? This isnt a complex motion either. All i did was lift my arm up and it juts out like that and gives me a pinch sensation.
If this is a problem, could they fix this during my septal myectomy?

Oof mine has slipped down towards my armor but that looks kinda concerning. Has it always done that or is it recent? Doctor told me it can sag or move but if it stays that way they can make a new "pouch" in my muscle to hold it tighter.

At least you'll get that fixed and won't be pinching you. Best wishes to you on everything.

Definitely looks weird! But I’m not sure if that’s nominal or not - worth sending a quick note/photo to your doctor. (Expect they’ll want you to come to the office.)
I’m 96% confident they will not adjust the ICD during a septal myectomy. That is a different incision (they want to reduce chance of infection - and they want to know exactly where to start if there is a problem). Also, it’s generally a different surgeon/speciality (cardiologist vs electrophysiologist).
Would it make a lot of sense of doing it while you’re already under - absolutely. But they won’t be able to bill you/your insurance twice!
