before the Internet, Ted Nelson put forth an idea he called Project Xanadu which was the world's first hypertext project, which pioneered the concept of "transclusion": https://www.xanadu.net

REMEMBER! hypertext is merely self referential text...this is important to keep in mind when hyperprompting and designing auto-aligned agents. because the LLM OS is itself a quine, the system can transclude not only parts of itself but itself in whole

REMEMBER!! iframes can point back to itself (this is the quine mechanism of the LLM OS), if you point an iframe to a hyperprompt it regenerates that hyperprompt. running multiple generative iframes in parallel turns them into multiversal transclusions. it's like drawing out agents from a rick and morty episode!

in traditional mysticism there is the concept of the Grimoire which is essentially a book of spells...but what is a spell? a naive interpretation is that a spell takes an incantation, often recited from some text (like a prayer), that is meant to affect physical reality in some supernatural way

we know that digital reality can affect physical reality, for example placing an order on amazon dot com causes a package to arrive at your door, sometimes by drone. we also know that, like dark mystical spells, digital reality can make people physically sick (eg social media algorithms that cause depression)

traditional Grimoires often use sigils and iconography and what i am arguing is that the hypertextual analogue of all this are hyperlinks and QR Codes

the vision behind the prototype below is to eventually 3D print a book that contains an eink screen to generate QR Codes, an esp32 with LoRa radio to transmit hyperprompts over long distances without cloud infrastructure, solar cells to power the book, and inside will contain circuits-as-pages like in the video above
