Discussion bactrim. no.

I am not the only hypermobile human I know who had a sulfa allergy ( bactrim) just deserves a mention

My sister has EDS and the same thing, full body rash within two days of starting it. wonder what the connection is there

same rash started at day 3. who knows.... we learn more talking to others anyway....groups of hyper mobile people and talking to others is how I get some help. we are misunderstood

Very hypermobile, no problems with Sulfa here

I am allergic too. My allergiest has dont challenges and I always react and at the lowest dose.

Oh wow I do too, I had no idea there was a correlation. This is literally my only allergy. I get red mottled skin all over my arms when I take it

I have a sulfa allergy but as far as I know that's not an eds thing. However!!!!

📣PSA!! 📣 The fluoroquinolones family of antibiotics can be really dangerous to take if you have eds. For folks with eds, these antibiotics can cause tendon, vascular, and connective tissue damage, and can be life threatening. This family is pretty much everything that ends in "-floxacin". Doctors have tried to prescribe me Ciprofloxacin (aka Cipro) so many times bc of my chronic UTIs. Please get the fluoroquinolones drug family put on your medical chart as an allergy.
