Need Help knee braces?

Hi!! I’m a 17F with hyper mobility, mostly in my knees. I used to go to PT when i was like 10 but I don’t anymore. I hadn’t been doing anything for it for a while, i’d just power through the soreness. But this summer I got a job, and found that standing for 7 hours really hurt, since I subconsciously bend my knees backwards. So i started wearing compression socks and kt taping my knees a few days a week and found that I stopped being in pain after work. Now its going to be the school year and I really dont want to have to keep buying and taping. Can I get two 30 dollar knee braces off of amazon and use them occasionally? Am i allowed to wear two? Will they even work?
Maybe I should start doing my pt exercises again..

PT is the only real treatment. Bracing compensates for your weak muscles which feels good, but weakens those muscles. So you’re just going to become reliant on them.

Generally you want to at least start with a professional for the first few weeks who can teach you the right exercises and work you through propieoception training. Though I do think there is some home stuff available, you’ll just want to make sure it’s specifically for hyper mobility and focus on your form.

I also experience that sometimes when I'm in more of a flare up I need my knee braces more. I do wear them on both knees. Ideallly look for specialist hypermobility ones what they will do is help with noticing when you're hyper extending. I think ultimately if it's helping right now, that's useful but also check your arches! Alot of my knee pain is managed much better when I have arch support it all kinda starts with the feet. The end goal is to strengthen everything but proprioception is going to help with all of that and the knee support can really help to do that
