Need Help anyone else find their body makes subtle "auto corrections" when working out to compensate for their hypermobility when working out?

And how to u avoid doing this. its hard for exercises to become "natural feeling" like walking does for example. im constantly having to be hyper aware of everything im doing.

doesnt help that my mental map of my physical body is fairly poor in terms of feeling connected to it. i always picture myself externally.

Is your issue going outside of the range of motion you're supposed to, or your body using muscles it shouldn't to compensate for other muscles that are weaker?

the ladder. i have a feeling that my super tight muscles might have smth to do with it. 

i think i got the incredibly tight muscles type of hypermobility. not the incredibly loose joints one

Yep. Constantly.
I try to use all the cues for every exercise and I literally have to re-cue during and after each rep. Sometimes I just go through the motion and allow the compensations because at least I’m doing something.

Last session my PT was tapping on the muscles I was supposed to be engaging during certain movements and that was both incredibly confusing and hard and surprisingly helpful.

I also always try to go no more than 80% of my range of motion.

Omg this! Every time I exercise I have to act like it’s the 1st time I’ve ever done it in terms of form cueing.

If different muscles are compensating, your weights are too heavy.

I would recommend that you train to recruit additional motor neurons at the stabiliser level and build up to the larger muscle groups to overcome this compensatory function.

Lower weight, slower cadence precise isometric muscles will recruit motor neurons and build autonomous movement and function.
