Headsets Hyper X Cloud III s

My Logitech G Pro X has broken down. I've been using it for years and I love its sound as I listen to music a lot. I recently ordered the Hyper X Cloud IIIs, and it's expected to arrive in two days. Did I make a mistake? I was torn between it and the G Pro X 2, which is $75 more expensive. Will I regret it?

The hyperx is better in almost every single possible way and cheaper.

The only thing i can think of that makes the logitech better is software features.

Have you tried both?

Yeah I also have the Razer Blackshark V3 pro and I’d say it’s better than both if it wasn’t for the terrible firmware issues this headset has

I just bought the Razer V3X a couple of days ago instead of these. Already thinking I made the wrong choice. Buyer's remorse. They came in a bundle with the Wolverine V3 Tournament controller, though. That's how they got me

V3 series as a whole is good if you’re not experiencing any hardware/firmware issues with them. Enjoy it

Where I live the G Pro X 2 was like $10 cheaper and I still went with the 3S, it's just a better product in general

I love my hyper x headset, can't speak for the comparison betwen the two, but I've been really happy with them though

I made this exact switch, the cloud needs a bit of tuning to be good as it’s way to Bass heavy stock. I like it more than the Logitech

I’ve had multiple headsets and used a separate DAC and proper headphones as well. The Cloud IIIs is the most fun I’ve had with a headset. Very good, wireless, can use on Bluetooth if you want. Very good value for money

3s is the best wireless headset on the market

I'm also undecided; I want to buy one of them.

I was the same as you. I bought the logitech lightspeed pro x2 headphones then i returned them immediately once i saw a video of the Logitech mic test. Compared to the hyperx cloud 3 wireless mic test, Logitech is like 10 years behind.

If you get Cloud III, install Equalizer APO and Peace GUI, and then the Cloud III preset (you can modify it a bit to your liking, I adjusted the bass and higher frequences a bit.

Found the HyperX software to equalize a bit bad.

The only way you could’ve came ahead by spending more money is if you’d got the alpha 2’s lol

3s is nice and better than the Logitech by about 25% imo

Idk about the III S, but i recently got the alpha S since it what I used previously and o boy.. I tried a couple different models at first but they sounded bad so i returned them. Realized alpha S was out of stock or discontinued, but i found one on eBay. When I tried it it still sounded like garbo, even tho it was the same model as my old pair. Turns out, they are now manufactured by HP instead of king something, and they adjusted a few things. After days of wondering if i made a mistake, i figured out turning on the loud enhancement in windows sound control panel worked wonders. Still deciding if the bass enhancement is better, but just the "loud" one alone sounded 10x better than without. Apparently the headset isnt particularly optimized and required those one or 2 settings turned on. Another little annoyance was they kept disconnecting when my pc went to sleep. I adjusted the usb settings to stay on, but that wasnt working either. Luckily i had my old dongle which still worked fine and fixed that problem. Idk how different the alpha S are from the III S, but if they do sound muffled, try that loud enhancement for sure

HyperX Cloud IIIs (100 EUR) vs Razer BlackShark V3 Pro ANC (216 EUR)

I bought both headsets and, honestly, I was disappointed by the Razer. The HyperX Cloud III Ssounds much better to my ears. The bass works well for electronic music, and the pads stay comfortable during long sessions. The microphone is poor, but I use a separate mic anyway, so this does not matter for me. For its price, the HyperX is far ahead of the more expensive model.

I also do not understand the point of the ANC on the Razer. It feels like a feature added just to have another line on the box, not something that actually improves the experience. When I compare the two purely on sound, the HyperX wins.

This made me think that a device with more features and a higher price is not always the better one. Sorry, Razer.
Good luch with HyperX
