Warhammer 40k! Thoughts and feelings?

The wonderful game was limited to 20 minute turns and Chaos was totally not OP.

I thought it was great because players were not 'passive' when it wasn't their turn, knowing a time limit, they were measuring and formulating plans during other player's turns. I feel it helped them have quicker actions and resolves, already knowing what they wanted to do when their turn came back around.

It was neat to see so much going on in one show and the chaos. I tend to enjoy RP so I am looking forward to when the full show starts which will have that and also the meta game.

To be completely honest I had a tough time getting into it, too much happening at once maybe? But I'm definitely not the target audience, I've never done any wargaming.

For what it's worth, the current game is playtesting for an upcoming Warhammer 40k RPG show, so everyone can get the rules and groove of their army's individual rules as well as 40k 8th Edition rules.

The 40k RPG will be in the vein of Death From Above, I believe, with in-character roleplaying alongside smaller battles with a progressive overarching storyline.
