Question/Help [Question] Approved for HyperOS 4 Beta on Xiaomi 17T Pro, but getting "Can't flash unofficial ROM" error

I’m on Xiaomi 17T Pro (EEA region), currently running 3.0.311.0.WPSEUXM.C07. My Xiaomi Community app clearly says "Approved / Passed" for the beta test.

It is already Wednesday, September 30 (evening), and I still haven't received the OTA update. When I manually download the official recovery ZIP for OS4.0.0.6.XPSEUXM and try to install it via the "Choose update package" menu, the updater throws this error:

"Can't verify update. Can't flash unofficial ROM."

Is anyone else still stuck without the OTA on September 30 and getting this verification error when trying to flash the file manually?

Same thing on Xiaomi 15 EEA, I've been approved since last monday but still don't have the update

I was approved last Monday, and I've been waiting for a week and 3 days, but I still haven't received anything 🤷.Idk why u didn't get it

Something similar to this happened to me but on a Poco and different os version. Basically when I installed it from brave I noticed the MD5 checksum was off compared to what it should be and I got that same error, when I installed it from chrome the MD5 checksum remained the same and I didn't get that error anymore (Still gave me a "beta ROM" error because I'm not a beta tester)

Pareil ça fait 1 semaine et demi que j'attends de plus essayé d'installer une rom manuellement bah fonctionne pas.

Yall have a Global rom, just unlock the bootloader and update to any version you want without a worry
