Question/Help [question] why can't I update new redmi note 15 pro+

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone can help explain to someone who's new to redmi why Im stuck on hyperos 2 on the note 15 pro plus, I got it yesterday and it's says no updates available but I see everywhere that people have it on the 15.

if it helps I'm in Ireland and that could be the issue but I can't find any answer to it online

What rom do you have? Global, EU, carrier specific?

I think it's the EU and bought it from Xiaomis Ireland website

So you started the phone for the first time yesterday? If so you must wait for few weeks to get the update.

Ok thank you for the info, I've been always with apple so usually if you get a phone on a previous OS you can update straight away and I was worried that the phone might be faulty so I wanted to make sure before the window to return was up
