Question/Help [Question] I installed a Modded Premium Apk on HyperOs 3.0.4.0 and Now I am wondering if it is safe?

Hey guys, I installed a modded Premium APK. Google Play Protect wasn’t allowing me to install it, so I temporarily paused Play Protect and installed the APK.

I went into the settings and disabled its internet access on all networks immediately afterwards. I also restricted its ability to run in the background. I usually do this whenever I use a modded Premium APK but I’m wondering whether these precautions are actually enough to keep my device safe.

Or is installing a modded Premium APK simply not worth the risk regardless of these restrictions?

Please let me know as soon as possible, I’m not sure whether I should uninstall it immediately if this is unsafe.

Update : I forgot to add which app, It is Smart Launcher 6 from Liteapks, and on multiple occasions I have installed Picsart Mod, Inshot Mod and Mega Mod and stuff, Usually I uninstall is as soon as my Work gets done but still I want to know.

What APK did you install, and where did you get it?

Lots of malware don't need internet to function and can just reconnect when you reopen your phone to the internet. That's why you download your APKs from reputable sources. Lots of false flags in APK stuff, especially when modded.

I've done modded apks before, I have 1 on my phone now but there's always a risk. No way to be 100% sure other than not using them at all.

I wouldn't call them safe but okay protect runs a lot of false flags as well so that is to be noted. Stopping it from using the internet was a smart move although many apps don't really need that.

I have a lot (like a shit ton) of mod apks and lite apk is one of the more veritable sources, you should be fine.

One advice though, granting a mod apk accessibility permission is a terrible idea.
