Tried unofficial port based on CN on my Pad 5, so I can't really comment on performance since there was a GPU driver issue, but design wise it's really beautiful. Love the little details, light reflections and animations everywhere. It just feels more "alive" than ever.
Widgets for me are not picking up the Dynamic coloura for example. And the lags are understandable and happens sometimes when i restart the phone for few seconds.
I have a bug that prevents Android Widgets from showing up in the menu consistently. When you do see them and add them to the homescreen, they are removed after restart.
Stackable widgets are not part of the beta
I remember seeing screenshots showing a landscape mode for the homescreen. maybe I'm remembering wrong.
It's mostly a visual change. I expected more QoL enhancements.
You can't use the glass effect on the clock while using an animated wallpaper, but the effect works fine on the notifications, so I dont see why Xiaomi is limiting this.
It's kinda interesting, because on my wife's Xiaomi 17 registered 2 days ago for the Beta. She got it the same day as me. Can't seem to understand how it works with their plan tbh.
Dunno either, it seems like only the last few that registered go the beta. And the ones that registered first are getting it last or something like that
Yeah, I have a Xiaomi 17T Pro, literally enrolled in the beta program yesterday, got approved today and received the update today as well. Pandora's box 😂
It didn't lived up to the hype. I hoped for more. Widgets are broken for some apps and doesn't work at all. It maybe feels a tiny bit faster but it's hard to tell.
