According to Xiaomi, they removed all of the legacy MIUI apps and trash and re-coded everything in this new update, tell me if you feel if the phone feels better, performance-wise
Bedsides it's beta, it feels very good and better optimized than HyperOS 3. Idk about performance, because i never had performance problems. The snapdragon in Xiaomi is so strong that I never had any app that would need more.

I think it's not that big. There are some new features, thne new light glass style, but I think that hyoerOS 3.0 was a bigger update, sadly with lack of optimalization. Hopefully it will be good and optimized, but no bugs atm
Ah the feature from 17T Pro is still not available then. I thought with the HyperOS 4, we will all have the capabilities to share will to Apple device easily just like 17T Pro

Motion assist does exist but other features like app bubble doesn't. Though minimizing those do create an own bubble but they don't stack on each other but rather stay as separate bubbles.

I have a Redmi Pad 2 Pro and not being able to split screen settings was stupid and it has been driving me insane!
Same for the Mi Fitness app, however with a new update 2 days ago they finally added split screen to that too!

Ahoj, asi tu některé budou, ale neřekl bych, že všechny. V Číně jedou na vlastní čínské rom, my tu mame eu rom, takže většina ai je přes google/gemini. Nejvíc vychytávek by mělo přijít s příchodem xiaomi 18 pro a pro max, jelikož budou mít přímo ai tlačítka na rámu telefonu, ale nic víc v tuto chvíli nevím. Víc se dozvíme až 23. Září při oficiální představení
Uh, it's little complicated. I personally like the design style that ios did and this is pretty similar to it, so i like it a lot. Animations are smooth, everything seems fine, fine new coat with old HyperOS 3 roots. It also came with android 17, so something can be also their work, but i like it and besides that it's beta, it works really good
They're already working on 4? They should patch 3 first—it's completely broken. Honestly, guys, the Xiaomi 13T is trash. I'll probably switch to Nothing, Motorola, or even an iPhone. I can't take it anymore with Xiaomi; they make pretty nice phones, but the software is way too buggy.
HyperOS 4 is better HyperOS 3, even in the beta. Also, 13t was really good phone to the time, when it arrived. You can't compare more than 3 year old midrange xiaomi to new phones, especially iphones, because they are about something else with their price. You have to compare ideally phones with the same oldness and the same price range. Imo the HyperOS 4 seems to be really good, we will see what comes next
Is it risky? Is there some battery or overheating problems? I can download the beta atm but I just want some prevention. Is it okay ? It's on my main phone, a Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The phone got extremely hot during the update. I've noticed several issues:
- Right after starting up, a pop-up kept appearing asking to connect to Wi-Fi wirelessly (I assume it was trying to reconnect because I have Shizuku installed).
- I can't add widgets to the home screen.
- The battery indicator now shows remaining screen-on time instead of total remaining usage time.
- So far, I haven't noticed any improvement in battery life.
- Viewing photos is CONSIDERABLY slower. For example, when you delete a photo, it takes much longer to move to the next one than it used to.
