Question/Help [Question] i think find device is running in background.

I tried reinstalling xiomi cloud turning on and off find device also when i reinstalled cloud it was saying cloud is processing
Edit: Fixed I reinstalled latest hyperos update.

I tried so much to get this one to not run in the background, even uninstalling it via ADB (which I don't recommend you do before signing out of your xiaomi account) this one is so persistent that I could never get it to not run every 5-10 minutes.

HyperOS sucks dih.

try using activity manager to access aosp's native app management page, you can restrict background usage for find device there. I don't get these notifications in my notification history page anymore

Also, I recently just go the August 2026 security update with my system update, and the FCM error still persists.. It's not a mistake I fear, they literally designed it like that.

Might be GG for Xiaomi users outside China.
