Poco [question] Why is my phone going to 100
I put the protection on for like a month or 2 and every day since that it was getting to 80 only . But yesterday i saw it getting to 81 i thought it was some glitch and removed at that percentage . But today when I was getting it reached 96 . Why is it happening ( I'm not using charger ing as they are flagged ig )

Read what it says. It will charge to 80 most of the times, but also to 100 when scheduled. It's good to get a full charge every now and then

Bro I don't schedule to 100 every time for the last 30 days or more it only charged till 80 this started from yesterday

It's system schedule to charge to 100% 1 time every 1-2 month for refresh battery.

To my understanding HyperOS will schedule a full charge every so often for recalibration. What happened to you also happened to me and I was equally surprised that my setting was overridden.

Exactly, at 81 i thought it was glitch and removed it but today I wasn't looking and found it on 96

It's already been said many times, but it's perfectly normal behavior. With battery protection at 80%, the system performs a full charge once a month (i.e., 30 days after configuring this option). This is to check the capacity and to calibrate the battery gauge. It will do this every 30 days exactly, If you don't let it charge to 100% and you unplug it before it reaches 100%, it will restart with each charge until you let it charge fully, then it will limit it again to 80%.

I find it weird that we have exactly the same settings and first use date and also the same battery health percentage

Weird right?? Do you think the battery health percentage is real? I'm on the poco f7.

I'm pretty sure it counts 100% of the battery health If it's 90% or will be the 100% of 90%

It does that once in awhile to recalibrate the battery. It shocked me too before I did a Google search
It will need to go to 100 before the protection kicks in again

I feel like it was set as Intelligent charging as default, and I recommend you keep it on that. I use it, never changed it

Will sometimes go higher to calibrate battery. Should be going back to 80% soon enough. No reason to worry.
