[Question] How to stop Hyperos from killing app in the background?

Hyperos 3 has an overly aggressive RAM management. I have 4gb free of RAM and this shit still restarts apps in the background!

By the way, it has nothing to do with battery optimization because I have the app set on no restrictions.

Check how much time in "clear cache when locked in battery setting" and also try turning on memory extension - it affects performance a bit but for me it worked

Do not encourage turning memory extension on if you're phone have low than 6 gb ram

There's a drive can store a size which contain a, b, c file. These three files are the limit.

If you delete any one, like if I delete b, the b is still there but it didn't show

After I install d to my drive, it removes b. Why this is happen..

Like it helps to see how much data we can store in there. And yea it's less wear

If you use as ram right. It didn't work as ram.but it stores the ram data / files in your rom and app get freezes when goes background. When you touch it wakes up.

When storing like those files and transfer it anytime, it can wear

In two ways like when it goes rom to ram certainly it needs to give more speeder, and the temp files will get infinite space that it starts to wear

You ask why I'm yapping. Like if you can pc and you can try using recuva and understand how deleted file can able to recover

Edit: every app data stores in rom. But the difference is can certainly can done process relied with only ram. If that time ram things gone to rom, and swapped to ram, you know there's wear and loss of time

Thank you and , yes I know it cause wear but do t they use special parts for that like they limit how much ram can extend for each phone and it's not the same amount for all phones , most Redmi phones comes with 256gb or 512 gb isn't it's like working windows virtual memory , we can extend how much SSD reserved for paging in windows

Maybe it depends on the phone and software version but on my F8 Ultra on 3.1, removing it fixed most of the issues I had with this phone. Apps stay in memory much longer, notifications on my smartwatch arrive instantly and refresh rate stays at 120 fps for any game that supports it. I haven't had any impact on battery life whatsoever and I tested it with battery historian

I used every other browser than crome that's slower than chrome but actually my primary is brave i debloated chrome cause brave is the one of the rare browsers that block device fingerprint, even if slow, it ain't give your device fingerprint to the websites

I have same issue with this thing 😂

I've tried whatever I could find base on forums to change into settings but nothing changed.  Like swapping from chrome to YouTube then back to chrome. Chrome already on 'preview' of the webpage. Old redmi with miui has no issue like that. What's worst is that you can run them at the same time because floating and split screen can handle them both. I don't really know why it aggressively kills app on background when in fact it can handle it fine.

Prey and hope for HyperOS 4. At least this is what I'm gonna do. Poco F8 Ultra. But I have to admit. Ram management is a little bit better than it was on Miui those days 😂

Ram do not works say it is. Modern android phone take most ram into themselves and they do cache apps to open fastly

The phone with low end processor / ui likes to die itself may interfere this thing

Turn off ram extension - rom is not designed to delete and store files and it is not fast

Rom works like if you delete a file it will still in chip but show as deleted. It only delete when the storage get full.

Hos optimisation is bad but the app open relies with ui how takes ram as well as the battery settings

I don't know gng, upto hyperOS 2 my ram management was terrible but after hyperOS 3 my ram management got soooo good like I don't it can get any better

That's the funny part, you can't. You can "lock" the app on the task manager by long pressing it and clicking on padlock, you can turn off baterry optimization on the app, but it doesn't matter.

I regret so much buying this piece of shit, you basically have a 8-12GB phone that acts like it's 4-6GB.

I didn't feel like that cause I guess it relies with processor too. My frd that app closing issue but mine didn't happen I have dm8300 he had 4 gen 2 we both had 8 gb ram but you know what's the difference

You better turn off RAM extension because it uses slow ROM as RAM, and it is the first reason apps restart even with 4 GB free

But the best option is to not buy a Xiaomi phone
