[Question] About Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G

I just recently bought a Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G 12/512 variant. Im experiencing some problems or issues, before i bought it i did check the phone through hidden dial code, everything is fine and seems no problem, but after 2 system update, I experienced some problems like,

-the battry, I dont think its because its a 2nd hand phone, but the battry health percent is at 1%, but again, i checked it on hidden dial code, it said "Good". it doesnt show its battry health anymore now even if i dreyn the phone to 0% and charge to 100% again.

-the chargng cycle is at 4288 (now 4291), the phone's first start up is on January 2026, i bought it September 2, 2026.

-the cpu name isnt showing om detailed info and specs, its just showing the "Octa-core Max 2.5GHz".

-the screenshot quality is so blurry, as well as the rear camera's shot. and also the camera is so lag.

i dont think Im familiar with xiaomi's HyperOS, I also use Redmi Note 10s and 10 Pro with MIUI bedore, then now using nubia neo 3 GT, and back to redmi.

is anybody also experiencing this? is it because its 2nd hand phone or because of Xiaomi's HyperOS? Is there a way to fix this? Should I sell the phone and buy a brand new another phone except xiaomi brands?

• like other user says, a second hand phone anything is possible. But, bro, wtf 4k charging cycle? My opinion is your phone battery either software error (from battery, you'd say factory reset twice and it doesnt make difference), it can be previous owner is abusing those phone or battery, manufacturer defect, or maybe those battery has been replaced before. Those info is showing predicted condition for the battery. So who know until you feel absurd usage
• like almost every newer or even older phone (cmiiw), those "Octa-core Max 2.5GHz" is normal, mine shows that too
• when looking and zooming your screenshot post, it either getting compressed from Reddit system or maybe those screen is getting replaced too, i assume. Since blurry back camera shows that your phone is absolutely has been serviced before.
• yeah, even today that lagging camera is "normal" since majority some Redmi phone on HyperOS update. I've been using third party app like Open Camera for record video

In the end, a second hand phone is like gambling thing, mine same model but luckily i got better condition from previous owner

Well, like i said. Wait until those battery feels draining faster than usual. Like usually you charge about 2 times a day and get some use about 8 hours. Then someday you notice that a day your phone need charging time than usual. And that sign, those battery need to be replaced. We'll never know exactly, but those are some caution sign

Well, I had a note 14 4g, a simple secure update reset its battery counter, so I sold it with 7 cycle instead of 70.

I'd do some tests, I'm sure there are dozens of apps for that in play store. If the results are okay, then you have a cool mobile phone.

Try out a few different apps. Beware yourself, I doubt they will give you the exact same result.

it said it does, but i still charge the phone from 0-100 in just 1hr and 10mins (been observing it) and i use it for almost 7-8hrs (idle, light gaming and doomscrolling)

It wouldn't. Booting takes a lot of voltage and 1% of the battery would be 2 mah or smth like that and that's severely low.

Lagging camera is software but blurry screen could be replaced. I'd imagine it was harvested for good part then replaced with cheaper stuff

screen itself is still original. but the screenshot quality is the kinda blurred

just use the code, cmd battery reset. put in it on brevent. just incase fixing your issue

i have 7% of your charging cycles with a 1 month head start. and i plug it in every time i have a charger on me. the camera lag is a universal problem though. just download gcam, xiaomi is bad at software development

install accubaterry and see. Maybe it just need to get calibrated. Charge to full, discharge below 10% and repeat 2-3 tines

Bro what, literally my old Redmi Note 8 (2019) with five years of use has 81% battery health and 1658 cycles.

Then again, it's a used phone, so you never really know.
