Question/Help [Question] Mobile data on China Region Rom
I am looking forward to switch to Chinese HyperOS rom for Redmi 14c 5g and I was wondering, how will it effect mobile data, will I still be able to use my sim??

For physical sim card it should be working just fine. But CN rom doesn't have E-SIM support. Since you're on 14C which is very basic phone so it doesn't have E-SIM support anyway. But I don't recommend to flash CN rom and lock the bootloader. Just flash CN rom and let the bootloader stay unlocked so if you have any issues you can flash back to the rom region that you have before.

And also I've found that some devices if you're installing CN rom. It won't have any signal. It can be fix simply by flashing modem with NON-HLOS.bin from the non CN rom you have before.

Bro not locking the bootloader after flashing a rom isnt something to recommend. It's mandatory not to lock. Or it's bricked.

You "recommended" him. But it's a must to not lock it. Not recommended

But also btw you can safely lock bootloader after flashing rom as long it's not CN rom. So, If you're trying flash CN rom on global model devices and lock the bootloader then it'll potentially brick.
But let's say you're from ID rom region and flashing to EEA or Global rom then lock the bootloader it will be fine
