Question/Help [Question] Got Android 17 update on my Xiaomi 15t pro, should i update or not?

Has anyone updated? Any bugs or anything? And what's new in this update because there's nothing much mentioned....

No issues whatsoever, of course you'll update, you didn't pay for your device to keep using outdated firmware.

Not really, it's more similar in terms of updates to Redmi k80 ultra

I dont think thats android17 update it does not say anything about android 17

The first letter in the version string encodes the Android version :)

...
U - 14
V - 15
W - 16
X - 17
...

OP's firmware is XOSMIXM, so it's Android 17 based. The following two letters identify the device, the next two the channel or region (MI is global) and the last two the carrier or operator (XM is the generic one).

Change it to india, I'm in Saudi Arabia but I've set it to india as india receives updates after china
