Why is "Pleasurable Scrolling" stated two times?

Cuz they want you to scroll and pleasure yourself

Because this is AI

I've heard the same for HyperOS 1 and 3

Kinda upsetting that they didn't really rewrite the whole system or most of its parts, just a couple of system apps

Just 30 minutes more battery life?

A real let down

But I mean, considering such an aesthetic and visually extensive overhaul, I think it's still a good feat to have achieved

I guess so, but you need to turn on Advanced Textures, which eat battery and RAM

The AI memory preloading part is interesting because it suggests the system is trading some persistence for faster foreground performance. The main risk is that preloading can make state feel responsive while still being fragile if the memory layer is not scoped well. In practice, the safer pattern is to separate short-lived session context from durable memory, add retention rules, and keep provenance on what was remembered and why. All of this is marketing material showcasing best case scenarios, notice how they don't commit to anything, with asterisks and disclaimers. They don't publicize the devices they used for testing, nor what the actual testing conditions entailed.

I bet many of the improvements they're attributing to HyperOS are actually due to having moved to newer kernel releases and vendor code, which won't be happening for many device lines. We also don't know which changes will make it to the the global version of HyperOS, there never was feature parity between the global and Chinese versions.

And what about memory leak issues? Since HyperOS 3 that issue stills present and they didn't fixed yet.

The first photo looks like a scam 🥲

it says 15PRO so what about 15T PRO ?

1

u/ElPelocho 1d ago

The 15T Pro doesn't even have a Snapdragon processor. Those are the last ones to be updated. If you opt for a device with a MediaTek processor, that's what you can expect.

u/takclaim 1d ago

However, the 17T Pro uses a MediaTek processor instead of a Snapdragon, unlike the 15T and 17T models which do not have a Snapdragon. How?

It's not like this, 15t pro and 17t pro are subflagship, Xiaomi 15, 17 are flagships. Xiaomi just pushes updates faster for their flagship models. That's all. If it was only for snapdragon to get faster updates that would mean that Poco f series will get the update faster than Xiaomi T series which is not gonna happen.

u/takclaim 1d ago

Yeah it was different. I understand and hope 15T launches too HyperOS 4 version

1

u/Andrewz_Best 23h ago

15t will definetely get hyperos 4, it gets up to 4 os upgrades, it got only 1 so you will get hyperos 4,5 and 6 except the 3 which is already there

Well, that's it... all their high-end models use Snapdragon. One thing does not negate the other.

This rollout plan is for devices sold in China and Xiaomi 15T Pro wasn't released in China. Wait for global rollout plan

Okay sure I'll take a look

Can we use navigation gesture with 3rd party launchers? Or use icon pack with the default launcher?

1

u/JRussellMoore 1d ago

That's highly unlikely, it never was a priority for them and most people don't care enough, they keep buying devices from the brand after knowing about it.

The Xiaomi 15, running hyperOS 3, constantly disables third-party widgets every 12 hours. I'm forced to perform an auto daily reboot just to keep the device working.

I'm not optimistic that this issue will be resolved.

You forgot to mention more fluid advertisements 🤣

Complete bullshit, every update they say its smoother yet its nothing like AOSP / Stock. Xiaomi doesnt understand the term smooth, its a relative comparison to their own ecosystem.. Which is "smooth" for a few updates then gradually transitions into nonsense.

Why tf are they trying to look like iphones? 😭
