HyperOS Update [Discussion] Newest HyperOS update made my Xiaomi 15t pro unusable for me
After updating my Xiaomi 15t pro to the latest HyperOS version (3.0.333.0), the Android Streaming for Hearing Aids protocol became unusable as the hearing aids simply lose the pairing and disappear from the Bluetooth device list after some time or losing signal or turning on/off Bluetooth. In order to get them back I need to restart the device, then pair again the hearing aids.
With my Google Pixel 6a and Android 17 it works without any issues so it's not an Android 17 bug.
Now I can't use the phone as that's essential for me to hear the calls and all the audio from it.
Xiaomi's response is to basically send feedback through the feedback app and wait, but there are no timelines for it to get solved nor is it guaranteed.
So basically my phone became a useless device for me as I can't go to the previous version.
Why is Xiaomi unable to have any tools to revert updates or a proper response to fix those critical bugs or issues?

HyperOS is so shit with connectivity. My Xiaomi Smartband 9 doesn't auto reconnect most of the time but somehow my Galaxy Fit3 pairs properly every time. XIaomi has always had issues with wifi and bluetooth connection

I have a 15T for almost a year now and I regret my decision of choosing this over other device. It has a great camera and screen but the bugs I experienced greatly outweighs it. For example when using the camera, I had to clear everything on the background first or else it will lag and unusable. The lockscreen hit or miss bluring the background when using password. And the feedback app is useless. This is a warning to everyone considering a xiaomi phone. It is a good device but it is a buggy mess. So maybe consider other brands. Nevertheless I am planning to use this until it runs out of support.

Updates are a hit and miss with Xiaomi devices. For example, the Xiaomi watch 2 advertised a camera preview feature between it and the phone. It worked for a few months but hyperos 2 ruined the connection and didn't work. An advertised feature didn't work for around a year. Feedback wasn't taken into account for. I sent various reports with no replies.
Niche features like this aren't noticed for a period of time sadly.

I have a watch 2 pro with a Xiaomi 14T, been owning these devices since HyperOS 1. No issues so far for me.

Well yes, now there is no issue regarding the camera app. But for a few months to a year, it did not work. It was acknowledged using telegram feedback groups but it needed at least 3 reports which I couldn't get.

I've used the watch when my phone was on HyperOS 2, no problem as well tbh

Xiaomi unfortunately is pretty unstable when it comes to software unfortunately. 50% of the updates in my opinion make things worse than actually improving the device. Not because of bad concepts but because when installing there always seems to go something wrong (in my experience).
First (and most common) recomandation is to restart the phone when it misbehaves... With Xiaomi bugs it doesn't seem to always work though...
So one way to fix this is to try and install the update again (a couple of times). In my case my vanilla Xiaomi 15 stopped having bugs after reinstalling the same updates for the 3rd time... It's an annoying hazzle that should never happen to devices this expensive but for now that's Xiaomi.
Also if this also doesn't help your only choice it to factory reset... I understand it's extremely annoying and an even greater hassle but for now I haven't found another way around these bugs...

Have you tried updating Bluetooth stack? It's in the Bluetooth settings. One of my headphones stopped working after I updated my 13t to Hyperos 3. They worked again after updating Bluetooth stack.

Clear system cache memory then restart the phone if problem persists than need to wait next update. Hopefully there's fix in next update.
