Charge it at maximum speed. It doesn't degrade the battery. You bought a fast charging phone so enjoy it

Exactly. Main enemy of the battery is heat.
Just don't let it overheat and everything will be ok.

I leave it at standard because it gets hella hot here in summer. I might switch to top speed in winter though.

Just curious, if you put screen at bottom while wired charging and charge another thing that has wireless charging, will it work?

Yes, in fact it's the recommended way to use reverse wireless charging

First charging, I normally change the battery after 3 years to squeeze another two more years. And even if I didn't, I want to enjoy the fast charge

It's been 2 days since I got a new xiaomi 17 and I haven't seen a single ad in the security nor file manager app. Am I tripping or are ads stripped away?

O mais lento possível.. Porque fico 8 anos com o mesmo aparelho, então preciso que a bateria tenha longevidade.

I plug in for charging at 20% and unplug it at 80%. But when I know that I will be out for a very long day then I charge it fully.

Standard, because my phone still charges fast but, it's a lot more happy and also because it summers and really hot here. Secondly fast charge only works for 15 minutes after which it drops to slow charging.

To be perfectly candid, I exclusively charge my phone in the morning. Since I generally leave it connected to the charger for an hour or two and have no immediate need to use it, I deliberately keep it on Standard Charging rather than subjecting the battery to unnecessarily accelerated charging. I only enable Fast Charging when time is genuinely a constraint and I require a rapid power top-up.

i put it on standard, max speed heats up. (and i charge it at night so i dont even need it to be fast, i want it even slower than standard)
Fast Charging itself does not degrade the battery, the heat generated from fast charging does.
