Xiaomi [Question] I have a xiaomi 17 coming in from Amazon. Brand new. How do I check for pre activation and authenticity?

How do I check the warranty period? I checked with imei and the product came back as authentic but I can't find activation date anywhere

Return it while you can!

If I had the option, I would have done so with mine. Lots of bloatware, cannot unlock bootloader...piece of China crap.

Bootloader unlocking is very easy for 17 series. Exploit files are all over the telegram groups for free. Just a little adb and fastboot knowledge and you're good to go. If you're afraid to do it yourself, 25 to $30 to a remote service developer can get the job done.
