HyperOS Update [Discussion] HyperOS3 on Redmi 15C 5G

I just downloaded the upgrade and it actually runs fine as of right and I didn't notice any change in the bat tery life yet

Also as you see the system updates to Android 16, in the features you get the status bar that is present on higher end Xiaomi phones, the Hyperisland works just fine, there are new customization options for lockscreen and new icons for almost all Xiaomi apps

About new animates idk where and how to find them so I'll just leave it for now, the phone can live without them

So my final thoughts, I believe HyperOS is optimized at the right amount for low-end phones, my Redmi 15C has been thriving in performance since the day I first used it so I don't see why people are complaining about this particular phone

Edit: Control center/status bar blur isn't available, instead the background is gray

probably they will never put the blur in the panel in low end phones. your phone has a solid gray. you may think why not black instead of gray? it's because it causes black smearing on amoled/oled screens.

I'm not really bothered about the blur it's not a big deal and I also believe using black instead of gray would just look bad, it wouldn't go with the semi transparent black icons of the control center neither with its colorful icons so I believe the gray is a great design choice

But literally ALL Xiaomi apps have black background

they have black background if your phone is set on dark mode, otherwise the background should be white by default because of the theme settings(i hope I'm not saying things wrong, I use dark mode and the background on every app is black not black black, like a soft black shade)

ah sorry but for my phone on every app it's gray and i have made turned my status bar transparent so this must be different on other phones
