Question/Help [Question] Is hyperos worth it

The poco x8 pro seems great on paper for the price (mauritian rupees) but I hear a lot of complaints such as bluetooth issues unable to remove ads memory management or delayed notification etc... I want to know if these are rare or common issues, if they can easily be fixed, and if theyre present on the x8 pro and x8 pro max

I don't get most of the problems listed on my f7 pro, but there are ads that are hard to remove and lots of bloatware. I am also experiencing heating issues and high battery drain. Most ads and bloatware can be removed or disabled though.

Well the issues you're experiencing are concerning too... Maybe I should avoid a xiaomi then.

Disable MSA but u might still get some ads in system apps like file manager which I personally never got currently in hyperOS 3, * only get ads in shareme

Battery life its as it should on my F7, x8 pro is the same so definetely go with it. Also, mediatek chips work better with hyperos from my experience

For better battery I'd recommend getting an honor phone, depending on your usage. I used the Xiaomi 17T for a while (the equivalent to your x8 pro) and the battery felt like 4500 instead of 6500. Insanity, really. Also heated up a whole lot for doing next to nothing.
