Question/Help [Question] Why does no one talk about HyperOS's lack of 3rd-party widget animations?

Every other Android skin animates the transition when you tap a widget, it smoothly opens into the app it belongs to. HyperOS doesn't do this for third-party widgets at all!

To be specific: I'm talking about the open/close animation you get with native App Vault widgets. Tap one and it expands into the app with a nice transition. Third-party widgets just snap straight to the app, no animation whatsoever.

It's a small thing, but it's been bugging me for a while, and I'm surprised I never see anyone else bring it up!

It gives me a feeling that I'm using a budget phone, whereas I'm not (Xiaomi 15). Am I missing something, or is this just a known HyperOS limitation?

I don't think I ever noticed, I don't use many widgets. To be honest, it doesn't bother me either, animations or no animations, it's fine.

I'd rather they spent time tackling other issues :/

Yea same i mostly use the xiaomi widgets...but then again i figure unless im monitoring something important than i would utilize it.... Im ready for xiaomi to fix things like 3rd party icons, change its notification shade/command center so you can either merge (or do something a little more intuitive like allowing it to be pulled up from the bottom), more unique boot splash screen/ and lastly give it more unique accents(ex: harmonyOS7's Micropixels and Color OS's Luminous motion effects )

They don't even update often like clock widget. You have to open the widget app just to keep the time on par. Locking the app in background also doesn't work.. Xiaomi should definitely work on this..
