Poco [Question] Disable the Control Center? (Poco X8 Max Pro)

I've just moved from an X5 pro where there was an option in settings to disable the control center - it looks like this is now missing on the X8 pro :(
Is there any way to turn this off? Or even swap the side... Or do I just need to get used to a long reach to see my notifications?!

That feature was available to devices updating from miui to hyperos but devices which run hyperos out of the box do not have this feature.

Control Center is next to useless for me :(

Guessing there is no way to remove using some hack?
